House sold? CRUNCH TIME!

What a day, what a day, what a day! Got a call from our realtor telling me an offer is coming in on our house....the catch is, they need possession to be 30 days. Considering the new place is still only up to rough in stage, we're freaking out. I mean, it's....uninsulated....minimal power supply....no running water, the bathroom is a hole in the ground....and oh yea, we have two kids under the age of 4.

I won't let this deal fall through for that reason though! Being mortgage free before my 24th birthday (this Christmas) would be a hell of an accomplishment and I fully intend to make it happen.

So here's what needs to happen:

1. Spray foam installation was scheduled for the first month of September, but with possession being set for sept 1, that won't be an option anymore. I'll be phoning the insulators in the morning to bump up the time frame.

2. Septic tank needs to be installed and plumbing tied in

3. Water well needs to be drilled so we have running water

4. Upgrading the solar setup to handle things like laundry and ventilation fans

5. Skirt in and insulate around the building before the snow flies
