9 Days out
Well, things are getting close now. 9 More days until we need to pack up and move and there is still a LOT to do. Things are coming along, but the weather is not being very co-operative. We got a massive dumping of snow overnight. A good 7-10 inches of snow combined with blowing winds led to some parts of the driveway being under 24" drifts. We got in for a couple hours today with the little ford, but left quite early in fears of being snowed in and unable to get out. I need to haul the tractor back out there, but haven't had an opportunity to borrow a trailer yet. But anyways, here's how things are looking.
Pine is coming together upstairs. I need to borrow a table saw to rip the top 2 boards to fit here.
Stairway is finally enclosed all the way around so kids can safely walk upstairs.
So thats how things are going upstairs. Once we finish up with the pine, we can have the open space downstairs again and do the flooring.
Carpet guy is coming next week to do upstairs flooring. Still a lot to do, but at least interior wise, things are getting to the point of livable!
